CROOKED PATH BAND

Crooked Path is a 5-piece acoustic roots band that loves a variety of genres including; Bluegrass, Country Roots, Old Time & Swing. We came together as a group whose paths have crossed through different bands and at different times, but mostly through our love of the blending of three (3) and four (4) part harmonies. The band is composed of the musical talents of; Cédric Blary (Clarinet), Al La Monaca (Banjo), Boh Woodward (Upright Bass), Maureen Woodward (Guitar) and Amber-Lynn Yourk (Mandolin). On occasion, or by special request, Crooked Path, has the privilege of Bruce Rohn filling in or accompanying us on Fiddle.

Our performance history includes, Bandstand Sundays (High River), The Ironwood, Foothills Bluegrass Music Society (FBMS), Shady Grove Festival, Heritage Park, Pembina River Music Festival, Blueberry Festival, The Venue (High River); Spruce Meadows, Tunnel Mountain (Banff), weddings, private functions and a variety of local business’ around Calgary and area. Upcoming 2025 Spring gigs include: Liquid (Medicine Hat), The Stop Coffee House & Gathering Place (Diamond Valley), & The Rocky Mountain Club.
